Patricia was born in Colombia, where a love for textiles and craftsmanship runs deep in her roots. With a background in textile design, she has always been drawn to the beauty and potential of natural fibers. Olivier, born in France, pursued a very different but equally creative path. As a Master Perfumer in New York City, he learned to blend artistry, precision, and passion into everything he created.

Their paths crossed in Mexico City— Today, at Shalimar Alpacas of Warwick, Patricia and Olivier combine their talents to honor the alpacas they raise and the timeless traditions of handmade textiles. Every scarf, sweater, poncho, and throw is crafted with care from the fiber of their own animals, transforming raw, natural beauty into pieces that bring warmth and comfort to everyday life.
